Chia puddings have become one of my go-to breakfasts, snacks and even deserts. These tiny little seeds are loaded with nutrients and are considered worlds healthiest foods. They are pretty bland in taste, which makes them very versatile for many different recipes. You can add them to your oatmeal, sprinkle on salads or make a pudding. In this recipe I made a chia pudding with almond milk, raspberry jam and berries.
You can substitute for any other liquid and berries.
- 3 tbs of chia seeds
- 1 cup of almond milk
- ¼ cup of homemade raspberry jam
- ¼ cup assorted berries
- Stir chia seeds into almond milk and soak for at least one hour (I like to leave it in the fridge overnight so it's ready for breakfast in the morning).
- Once chia seeds absorbed all the liquid, spoon a little into a cup, then add a layer of berries, then another layer of chia pudding, then a layer of raspberry jam, add one more layer of chia pudding and top with berries again.
You can find many varieties of chia seeds on amazon. Here is my favorite brand.
