One of my kids refuses to eat avocados or even to try them. However, he loves green smoothies, which led me to the discovery of an avocado smoothie! I realized that if paired with ingredients he already likes, the avocado may go undetected. And it worked! This combination of dates & bananas gives it a nice sweet taste.
Being an avocado lover myself, I was very happy to incorporate them into a few variations of my smoothies. I usually just use them for a quick avocado toast or guacamole so this is a nice way to break up my avocado routine.

- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1 cup dates
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- Starting with wet first all to blender. Blend for about 1 minute. Enjoy!
This also makes a great, super fast and super nutritious breakfast.
